Dear Atlanta Gynecology and Obstetrics Patients,
The providers at Atlanta Gynecology and Obstetrics want to let you know that the safety and well-being of our patients, their families, and our staff have always been, and continue to remain, our priority.
As the news about the COVID-19 virus continues to unfold, we wanted to share some of our protocols and facility guidelines to let you know that we are constantly endeavoring to make our office a safe place by basing our protocols under the current recommendations of the CDC.

No one coming to our office should feel like they are being exposed to illness. We follow the CDC guidelines for the management of all infectious diseases by adhering to their current recommendations. To help reduce and prevent the spread of germs in our office, we are taking the following measures:
* In most situations, parents, guardians, spouses, and caretakers are not allowed in the exam room, but we can provide FaceTime while in the room with the Provider.
Note: Thus far, data shows that being a pregnant patient does not put you at any greater risk than the rest of the population. We want to reassure you that our hospital, Emory Decatur, is well prepared and conducting daily evaluations and adhering to current Emory and CDC guidelines.
