Julia Smookler

CNM, MSN

“My past experience in working as a labor and delivery nurse and providing care for women and their families ignited a desire in my heart to strengthen my commitment to women’s health by becoming a Certified Nurse Midwife. In this role and as a registered nurse, I have dedicated myself to the service of birthing women and their families. It has been a rewarding journey to provide care for women from preconception all the way through to postpartum. I derive profound joy from guiding natural processes and supporting women in whatever type of birthing experience they want. No two moms, no two babies, and no two births are the same, so it is important to me to individualize care for each mom. I feel honored to share in the miracle of bringing babies into this world by supporting my moms and giving them safe and natural options for their birth.”
